My family loves to camp. We have a little pop up camper. You can see by the picture that it is very simple and old. It is a 1964 Apache. It was Sandie's family's when she was growing up and we have been using it for the past 12 years or so. There is something very special about being in a fairly remote place and away from all the normal daily distractions. You are surrounded by your family and God's great creation. In some ways the camping family is forced to do nothing but play with each other.

This year in anticipation of the trip, Jason, our three old, was the most excited about getting in the camper and playing Sorry and Checkers. Zachary, 6, is looking forward to the campfires. Sandie loves the quietness and the fact that we are all together. I like the food. And, of course, I love spending time with my amazing wife and wonderful kids.
